| Component is an important structural unit of the Chinese character system.As a high-frequency component of Chinese characters with high frequency of occurrence and strong character formation ability,it should be paid more attention in the teaching of Chinese characters to foreigners.According to the National Language and Character Specification(GF0014-2009)"Modern Common Word Components and Component Name Specifications"(hereinafter referred to as "Component Specifications"),this paper is based on "Classification of Syllable Chinese Vocabulary for International Chinese Education"(Chinese Character Table)(Hereinafter referred to as "Grading")as the research scope,analyze and summarize the high-frequency components of Chinese characters used in international Chinese teaching.On this basis,a questionnaire is carried out,and the results of the survey are analyzed to provide a useful reference for the teaching of Chinese characters,the compilation of Chinese characters for foreigners,and the acquisition of Chinese characters for foreign students.This article is divided into six chapters.Chapter 1,Introduction.Introduce the reason,current situation,significance and purpose of this research.At present,there is not much research on the high-frequency components in the teaching of Chinese characters for foreigners,and even less research on the high-frequency components in the international Chinese teaching,especially the research on the high-frequency components of Chinese characters in "Classification" is almost non-existent.The second chapter divides the 3000 Chinese characters in "Classification",and counts the high-frequency formed characters and the high-frequency non-formed characters.Self-built Chinese character component database,analyzed the frequency of 50high-frequency components in the scope of "Classification",and learned from the explanation of relevant Chinese characters in "Shuowen Jiezi" to investigate the source of 50high-frequency components.The third chapter investigates and analyzes the situation of foreign students’ cognition and acquisition of high-frequency components and Chinese teachers.The questionnaire is divided into two parts,one part is the student questionnaire,which is presented in the form of objective questions,and the other part is the teacher questionnaire,which has both objective and subjective questions.The purpose of the student questionnaire is to examine the students’ understanding of high-frequency components,the meaning of the components in Chinese characters,and to understand students’ problems in the study of high-frequency components.The teacher questionnaire examines teachers’ understanding and attention to high-frequency components,as well as their application in teaching.The fourth chapter investigates the arrangement of high-frequency components of Chinese characters in foreign Chinese textbooks.Three textbooks were selected,namely "Experience Chinese Characters","Chinese Characters Quick Book(2nd Edition)",and "Chinese Reading Course(3rd Edition)",to compare and analyze the arrangement of knowledge of components and practice design of the three sets of textbooks.The fifth chapter puts forward suggestions on Chinese character teaching and textbook compilation.The suggestions mainly include the teaching of Chinese characters and the compilation of Chinese textbooks,hoping to provide more efficient teaching methods and more scientific textbooks for international students.Chapter 6,Summarize the article and point out research gaps,and look forward to the role of the high-frequency components of Chinese characters in Chinese character teaching. |
