Chinese characters carry the history and culture of China for thousands of years.In international Chinese teaching,Chinese character teaching is a recognized difficulty.With the development of information technology,Chinese character APP resources came into being,which attracted the attention of international Chinese teaching researchers.Under the guidance of informal learning theory,affective filter hypothesis and constructivism theory,the author uses literature research,statistical analysis,case analysis,questionnaire survey and other methods to try to explore the feasibility and applicability of applying Chinese characters APP resources to the primary teaching of Chinese characters as a foreign language.Through the questionnaire,the author understands the understanding,use and expectation of Chinese characters APP resources for TCFL teachers and international students in International College of Hubei University of Technology,and the current situation of Chinese characters APP resources applied to TCFL.Based on this,the author selected a representative Chinese character APP,Wukong Literacy,from the integrated and optimized Chinese character APP resources,and carried out the case design and teaching practice of primary Chinese character teaching.Combined with the questionnaire survey after class,the author made relevant teaching reflections,and demonstrated that Chinese character app resources have practical significance to enrich the traditional Chinese character teaching mode and improve the teaching effect of Chinese as a foreign language,with a view to providing practical reference for international Chinese teaching.
