Chinese characters are a special writing system which is different from alphabetic characters.Chinese characters have many strokes,complex shapes,and many similar and easily confused glyphs,which make it difficult for beginners to recognize,read and memorize.With the efforts of teachers and scholars,great progress has been made in the teaching of Chinese characters.However,in order to improve the teaching ability and effect of Chinese characters and change the lagging situation of Chinese character teaching research,it is necessary to strengthen the continuous exploration and research on the teaching theory and application of Chinese characters.Based on the experience of Chinese character teaching and research,the author concludes that the main factors affecting the learning efficiency of Chinese characters are: the ability to form characters,the ability to form words,the frequency of Chinese characters and the complexity of Chinese characters.Most of the existing relevant studies have examined one or two factors from a single Angle,or discussed the interaction between the two factors.There is no unified scale that takes into account four factors at the same time.This paper puts forward a new concept of teaching value of Chinese characters,and makes a comprehensive analysis of the four factors involved in statistics and calculation.And take the new HSK level 1 to 4 intermediate vocabulary as an example to explore the teaching value of Chinese characters.Chinese character teaching value is a new guiding concept to evaluate the importance of Chinese character teaching,teaching sequence and method. |
