| Chinese characters is the symbol system that to record the language of Han nationality. It is one of the most important links in the teaching of Chinese to the foreigners and it has directly relevant to the Chinese level of foreign learners. Nowadays many of the foreign learners fear to learn Chinese characters. On the stage there are a lot of research on the theory and experience about teaching of Chinese to the foreigners, but rare on the teaching strategy based on the specialty of Chinese characters as well as corresponding practical application. Furthermore, the research on the theory and experience about teaching of Chinese are mostly about why and how to teach the basic structure of Chinese characters but not focus on the specialty of Chinese characters, treating the foreign learners in different stage as equal, even neglecting teaching the Chinese characters and the culture.Chapter 1 of this thesis analyses the specialty of Chinese characters, modern Chinese characters as the basic theories in the teaching of Chinese to the foreigners and the importance of culture input.Chapter 2 raises 2 hypothesis, to adopt different teaching strategy to foreign students in different stages and being unfamiliar with Chinese Character Radicals or misunderstand the structure of Chinese characters primarily cause written mistake of Chinese characters. Investigating the written mistakes that are made by foreign learners in different stages and suggesting corresponding teaching strategy according to the experiment. Also making conclusion about the feasibility of the strategy and the part that need to pay attention to and be improved in future teaching.Chapter 3 formally raises the teaching strategy to the Chinese teaching for foreign students in junior stage. Besides valuing the written practice in strokes and components of Chinese characters, adopt the teaching of Chinese Character Radicals in a culture inducing method. Also to the foreign students in senior stage, systematic learning the knowledge of Chinese Character Radicals and think much of the parallelism of the figure, pronunciation and signification, lead the foreign student with concluding and analyzing in Chinese learning.The end of the thesis summarize the limitation and insufficiency of experiment design, also the hardness that are running into or will come across in execution of Chinese teaching strategy. The author hopes that the Chinese teaching could be improved in practice and theory investigation, trying to achieve better effect in future Chinese teaching. |
