Ancient poetry is not only an indispensable part of Chinese traditional culture,but also an important part of International Chinese education.As the treasure of Chinese traditional culture,ancient poetry contains Chinese people’s outlook on world,life and values.Learning ancient poems can help Chinese learners better understand Chinese values,national character and way of thinking.This thesis is a study on the compilation of ancient Chinese poetry textbooks for international Education of Chinese.The first chapter briefly describes research reason,purpose,background and significance of the topic,and briefly summarizes the development of ancient Chinese poetry textbooks for international education,and chooses four sets of ancient Chinese poetry textbooks as the research object of this paper.The second chapter uses the comparative analysis method to study the commonness and individuality of the four sets of textbooks from six aspects,such as textbook style,arrangement style,ancient poetry selection,emotional guidance and cultural output,and finds that the four sets of textbooks have great commonness in style composition,illustrations and supporting materials;the arrangement style and the selection of ancient poems are distinctive and have their own emphases;the degree of detail and accuracy in the explanation of new words and English notes need to be revised;in the aspect of exercise design,some textbooks need to be improved.The third chapter adopts the method of questionnaire survey and interview.Questionnaire survey students’ learning background,motivation,looking forward to,etc.,founding that most learners tend to choose Chinese,English and native language learning poems,at the same time hope to use in learning "watching video,look at the pictures and listen to music,reading" method,and use "speak their understanding of the classical poetry" "read,back a back" "translation" to practice.It is worth noting that most learners consider the new words of ancient poems to be the biggest difficulty.Interviewed and investigated the experiences and suggestions of five teachers in the aspects of teaching material expectation,curriculum setting and teaching practice.The fourth chapter,based on the previous research results,points out that there may be some problems in the compilation of ancient poetry textbooks,such as too few textbooks,not rich enough types,lack of outline,not strong in The Times,and gives some suggestions on the compilation of ancient poetry textbooks in the aspects of teaching style,arrangement style,emotional guidance,etc.The last part is the conclusion,summarizes the main content of this paper,and points out the shortcomings of this research.
