| This paper is a translation report.The translation material of this report is extracted from Sustainable Intelligent Agriculture Development Based on Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things Technology by Pradeep Tomar and Gurjit Kaur.The translator translated the twelfth chapter,the thirteenth chapter and the fourteenth chapter.Three chapters respectively describe the smart agriculture using wireless sensor technology and Internet of Things,intelligent soil monitoring system and real-time crop monitoring technology in smart agriculture.The smart agriculture conforms to the national agricultural development strategy and it is a hot topic nowadays,so it is of great practical significance to the translation study of agricultural intelligence.This translation practice report can be divided into four parts.The first part expounds the background of the translation task,the source,specific content and characteristics of the translation task and the significance of this translation task.The second part is the description of the translation process,which records the translation process in detail from three stages: preparation before translation,translation process during translation and proofreading after translation.The third part is the analysis of translation examples.The author mainly summarized and analyzed the use of specific translation methods from the aspects of word translation and sentence translation.The fourth part is the summary of translation practice,in which the author summarizes the gains and limits in this translation.Through the translation of this material,the translator has learned the accurate expression of agricultural technical terms,and mastered the translation methods of passive sentences,attributive clauses in complex sentences and long and difficult sentences.The author also has a deeper understanding of the translator’s own responsibility and translation. |
