Exploring The Origin Of Xu Wei's Elegant Calligraph

Xu Wei was a literati,calligrapher and painter in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.In calligraphy,Xu Wei broke the style of "terrace style" decorated in the early Ming Dynasty and formed the elegant calligraphy with strong personal colors.This paper takes the exploration of the origin of Xu Wei’s well-behaved calligraphy as the research objective,through the specific analysis of the different manifestations of his well-behaved calligraphy,in-depth study of the causes of the formation of his well-behaved calligraphy.The study on the source of Xu Wei’s elegant calligraphy is divided into five parts.The first part mainly discusses Xu Wei’s life and his artistic achievements.Xu Wei’s life is bumpy,trapped in the house,he was close with teachers,friends,and in poetry,literature,painting,opera and other artistic fields have made great achievements.The second part interprets the word "Guai Yi",and then analyzes the four different manifestations of Xu Wei’s elegant calligraphy.The third part studies the specific causes of the formation of Xu Wei’s elegant calligraphy.Xu Wei’s elegant style of writing shows a different face from that of people at that time.The formation of this style of writing has a lot to do with Xu Wei’s life circumstances,his thoughts on writing,the fields involved,and all aspects of The Times he lived in.The fourth part discusses the status of Xu Wei’s elegant calligraphy in the history of books and its influence on later generations.The fifth part explains how the author applies the research results of Xu Wei’s elegant calligraphy to my own creation practice.
