Qi Dang Is Elegant And Elegant

As one of the four greatest calligraphers of the Song Dynasty,Mi Fu has many excellent calligraphy works which come down to the world and his calligraphy art achievement has a great influence on the then and later generations.This article briefly introduces Mi Fu's life and uses one of Mi Fu's masterpieces Placard Poetry as an example to explore the origin of his calligraphy,to discover the law of his brushwork,structure and seal style and to benefit my future imitation and creation.The content includes the study of his calligraphy art and analysis of the origin handwritings and its techniques.Moreover,it can be found rigorous predecessors ‘literature review of Placard Poetry.In practice,I repeatedly compared my imitations with Mi Fu's original works and analyzed the differences between them to find out my own deficiencies and constantly correct them.Through persistent imitation and learning,I found the suitable way of my own writing.In the second half of this article,I summarize some of my creation experiences,from how to use the brush properly,how to establish the structure and seal style.For example,it can be concluded as three major difficulties during my creation: detaching from the original works and create independently,dynamic posture of handwriting and harmonios blend.In addition,the form of my creation includes letters splicing and banners.Trying different forms of creation and analyzing the different figures made me understand my weakness and has a deeper understanding of Mi Fu's art spiritual to a great extent.And more practice prompted me to be inspired by Mi Fu's pizzazz and elegant style.
