Exploring The Creation Of Zheng Xiaoshu's Calligraphy

In the calligraphy circle of the Late Qing Dynasty,Zheng Xiaoxu is a highly controversial figure.He has indeed made some achievements in many areas.Zheng Xiaoxu was not only an famous calligrapher,but also a highly respected poet,an educator of innovation,a legacy of the Qing dynasty,and a misplaced politician at that time.Multiple identities make him both himself and his calligraphy works are a combination of contradictions.He and his calligraphy works are becoming increasingly despised from popularity.All this changes are enough to warning future generations.However,from the perspective of the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese art,Zheng Xiaoxu’s calligraphy and achievements in calligraphy,his active exploration and successful experience in the combination of rubbings and calligraphy,the development of calligraphy creation and prosperity have positive enlightenment and reference significance.On the basis of existing research,this article will combine the creative ideas of his calligraphy with his creative practice in different periods to explore the influence of Zheng Xiaoxu’s calligraphy,how should we conduct calligraphy creation in regular script calligraphy.To explore the impact of Zhengxiao Xu calligraphy and how we should now solve the problems in the creation of today’s calligraphy so as to carry out regular calligraphy creation.
