| In the Chinese calligraphy history, the intermediate stage of the Ming Dynasty is a transformation era, when the conservative idea and the new transformative ideological trend collided with each other intensely. It was in this period that Zhu Yunming, from the perspective of calligraphy history, criticized profoundly the vices in the calligraphy world, and furthermore, by his original ideas and personal practices, led the calligraphy world of the time to prosperity from the ebb, exerting positive influence on the generations to follow.The thesis contains three parts.The first part introduces briefly the general situation of the calligraphy world in the early and middle stage of the Ming Dynasty, based on which Zhu Yunming's calligraphy thoughts and practices came into being.The second part (including Chapter 2 and 3),focuses on Zhu Yunming's calligraphy thoughts.
