The source text of the report is excerpted from Mental Wealth: An Essential Guide to Workplace Mental Health and Wellbeing,a psychological book.According to Reiss’ s classification of texts, the book is an informative text. The translator analyzes the characteristics of the text at two levels and discusses the translation methods used at different levels. At the sentence level, the original text intersperses simple and complex sentences,as well as long and short sentences. In view of the fact that there are many dashes, the translator uses three translation methods: rational reservation, translation into conjunction and appropriate deletion. At the textual level, the translator uses the translation of deixis and the translation of logic copying. In this translation practice, the translator summarizes and analyzes the relevant translation methods with regard to the linguistic characteristics of psychological texts. It is hoped that the dissertation will be accumulated for related research and translation practice.
