Application Of Sunflower Elemen In Ceramic Decoration Ate

The sunflower is found everywhere in people’s daily lives and its morphological characteristics have been used in art for a long time.The sunflower’s form and colour have unique artistic properties and their own symbolic meaning,making them a unique decorative symbol that is widely used in art.By incorporating it into ceramic art,it can better express people’s good wishes.This thesis takes the use of the sunflower element in art as an entry point,analysing and summarising it through a search of relevant literature and photographic materials,as well as its application in different categories of decorative art.The thesis discusses the various aspects of shape,decoration and pattern,analyses the decorative expression and aesthetic characteristics of the sunflower-shaped element,and explores its development status,cultural connotation and decorative characteristics in ceramic decorative art.Using ceramic materials as the artistic carrier,this work summarises and refines the morphological characteristics of the sunflower elements,combining different decorative techniques such as pinching,underglaze and carving,and using ceramic language to interpret the formal aesthetics of the sunflower elements,with the aim of better passing on and promoting ceramic culture.
