Application Of Vine Plant Elements In Ceramic Decoration

"Vines" are often used in horticultural landscapes,with a rich variety of plants that grow by twisting,attaching and clinging,and have their unique artistic properties.Due to its tenacious life force and lush natural growth,the vine has been given many beautiful meanings,making it a creative subject in the category of plastic art.In the context of the new era,people’s living standards are improving and their aesthetic needs are becoming richer,presenting more diversified art forms and artistic styles.As a material carrier for the development of art and culture,ceramics are loved by the public and play a role in promoting the inheritance and development of culture.The vine element is widely used in decorative art,and its beautiful symbolism and artistic aesthetics have transformed it into a unique artistic symbol.However,"ceramic beauty" is inseparable from ceramic decoration and is an important part of ceramic art.The vine element is integrated into the creative expression of ceramic decoration,and the new semantics of vine element in art creation are constantly explored.This paper takes the application of vine elements in ceramic decoration as the research object,and collects relevant literature and pictures to sort out and summarize the development of vine elements in decorative art and elaborate their artistic characteristics and spiritual connotation.The application in different art disciplines is also analyzed in case studies,and the expression and aesthetic characteristics of vine elements are studied in depth,and discussed in three aspects of pattern,shape and ornamentation respectively,and taken as the basis for artistic creation.In the six sets of works created this time,the forms of vines are abstractly summarized and refined,and combined with ceramic materials,different expressions are tried,using under glaze painting,sculpture decoration,screen printing and other decorative techniques to express.The "spirit of vine" is better interpreted in the language of ceramics,and the Chinese ceramic culture is more profoundly inherited and promoted.
