The Application Of The "Autumn Memories" Series In The Design Of Ceramic Decoration

As a branch of the Four Seasons theme,"Autumn" is a very important element in artistic creation.The word "reminiscence" refers to memorials and memories.In this article,"Autumn Recollection" is an expression of the virtual realm,with "Autumn" as the main theme and "Recollection" as a supplement.In the text,it refers to the reflection on "temporality" and "life" through memorials and memories of autumn.In this project,we collected the elements of the theme of "Autumn Reminiscence",analyzed and deduced them from three aspects: allegorical expression,seasonal characteristics,and derived symbolic meaning,and filtered out the symbolic meaning of the element "geese" which is closest to the central idea of this topic.The "goose" element was selected to be used throughout this design.The development and application of the"wild goose" element in culture and art were sorted out and analyzed,and how the "wild goose" element can be used to show the inner meaning of the theme of "Autumn Memory".The exhibition explores how to express the "temporality" and "vitality"inherent in the theme of "Autumn Memory" through the "geese" element.We grasp the spiritual meaning and cultural connotation of the "wild goose" element in traditional culture from three aspects: shape,symbolism and form.Combined with the current design trend,we interpret and express "life" and "time" through the evolution of color,form and shape,and create decorative works that fit the theme of "Autumn Memory".The process of this paper is divided into the analysis of the theme,the interpretation and expression of "life" and "time" through the evolution of color,form and shape,and the creation of ceramic decorative works that fit the theme of "Autumn Memory.The process of this paper is divided into four steps: theme analysis,element derivation,design evolution,and production.According to the above method,we designed and produced three sets of flat decorative works and three sets of modeling decorative works based on the theme of "Autumn Memory" using ceramics as the medium and carrier.This paper is a summary of the source of the graduation design,the design concept,and the practical thinking of the author.In the theme analysis,I explained and grasped the "life" and "time" inherent in the theme of "Autumn Memory",and in the derivation of the elements,I organized and summarized the elements related to the theme and selected "In the design conception,we combined the element of "geese"with natural elements such as maple forest and dead leaves,and drew closer to the inner meaning of the theme of "Autumn Memory".According to the demand of the design,we tried and combined various techniques such as overglaze,underglaze,stranded glaze,brush flower and applique to find and solve the unreasonable points of the design and improve the whole design process.
