| The synonymous adjectives in Chinese vocabulary are an important part of Chinese vocabulary teaching as a second language.Similar adjectives are different in semantic content,grammatical function and even pragmatics.In a specific context,the use of adjectives is often unique.When teaching these words,international Chinese teachers cannot present all the contents of these synonymous adjectives one by one.As a result,students often have various misrepresentation errors when using these synonymous adjectives.This article mainly classified and summarized the band 4 adjectives in the "HSK Vocabulary Level Syllabus",and divided 168 adjectives into three categories: objective value,thing’s value,and humanity value,and then further established synonymous adjectives.Group of synonymous adjectives for semantic analysis and grammatical analysis,and finally proposed the teaching strategy of synonymous adjectives.Through analysis,this paper finds that the correct use of synonymous adjectives is mainly related to three factors.The first is the understanding of the semantic and grammatical content of adjectives.This is also the premise of using adjectives correctly.Secondly,it is to understand the potential characteristics of the modified object of adjectives,that is,the host.Finally,it is the context in which adjectives appear.In general,the host of an adjective can decide whether an adjective can be used.But sometimes,because the potential characteristics of the host are not clear enough,it needs to be judged in combination with the context.Based on the above analysis results,combined with the specific near meaning adjectives,this paper puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies.These teaching strategies mainly include: teaching students only the common semantics and general usage of words,and deleting the uncommon meanings and usage with low frequency;Teach students the common semantics of words with the help of models and other languages;With the help of typical examples,show students the specific context in which synonymous adjectives appear. |
