The promulgation of the English Curriculum Standard for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition revised for 2020)has set a higher-level goal for English classroom teaching.However,under the influence of China’s traditional education methods and the pressure of exam oriented education,English Teaching in senior high schools focuses on language ability,and the phenomena of utilitarian teaching objectives,fragmented teaching contents,mechanized teaching activities and unitary teaching evaluation still exist.Deep learning emphasizes students’"main position",and advocates cultivating students’ abilities such as autonomous learning,building knowledge framework,cooperative exploration,problem-solving and so on.Deep learning is a comprehensive activity.A single reading class and writing class can not realize deep learning.Therefore,the implementation of deep learning should be combined with Unit Integrity Teaching.It can be said that Unit Integrity Teaching is a specific way of deep learning,and deep learning is the theoretical guidance of Unit Integrity Teaching.Combined with specific cases,this thesis puts forward the high school English Unit Integrity Teaching model based on deep learning,in order to provide reference for high school English teachers and cultivate students’ ability of deep learning.A total of 102 students in Grade 1 of T Middle school in L city are taken as the research object,in order to solve the following three questions:(1)Can Unit Integrity Teaching model based on deep learning improve senior high school students’ interest of English learning?(2)Can Unit Integrity Teaching model based on deep learning improve senior high school students’ ability of deep learning?(3)Can Unit Integrity Teaching model based on deep learning improve senior high school students’ English performance?The author investigated the current situation of the ability of deep learning and the ability of constructing unit knowledge of students in experimental class and control class by issuing a questionnaire,and found that the current students’ability of deep learning and the ability of constructing unit knowledge are weak.To solve these problems,Unit Integrity Teaching model based on deep learning in senior high school English is designed and adopted in the experimental class,while the traditional teaching model is still adopted in the control class.After experiment,the author conducted a questionnaire and test in the two classes again.Through the analysis of the questionnaire data,it is proved that the high school English Unit Integrity Teaching model based on deep learning can improve the students’ the interest in English learning,the ability of deep learning and the performance.Through the comparative analysis of the results of the control class and the experimental class,the author finds that the English performance of the experimental class has been significantly improved. |
