Zhou long is the first batch of Chinese composers to receive western music education after the reform and opening up.His music works collect the aesthetic concepts and musical elements of the East and the west,reflecting the in-depth thinking of the nation and the world.The piano concerto postures(2014)carries the composer’s new thinking about the relationship between tradition and modernity,Eastern and Western culture,and expresses the unique aesthetic and philosophical concepts of the Chinese people by integrating religious rituals,folklore,traditional opera and Chinese Kung Fu.This work endows piano and orchestral music with unique sound structure and new artistic expression space,which makes Chinese and western music culture form a multi-directional blend not only at the level of composition and performance,but also at the level of ideological spirit and cultural core.This topic aims to reveal the significance of national cultural elements in modern Chinese music creation through the analysis of composition techniques,so as to establish national identity from the perspective of globalization and promote the promotion and dissemination of Chinese traditional culture around the world.This paper will be discussed from four chapters: the first chapter combs Zhou Long’s creative process and cultural identity,summarizes the theme and creative characteristics of his works,and then summarizes the creative background and theme characteristics of the piano concerto situation,revealing Zhou Long’s unchanging "Chinese identity" in the change of creative context;The second chapter interprets the music image of each movement of the work,explores the overall structural logic of the movement,and demonstrates that the music image of situation is derived from Zhou Long’s cultural memory.Each movement draws lessons from the "montage" editing method in film art as the development logic of music materials,reflecting the meaning of Chinese traditional aesthetics;The third chapter starts from the three dimensions of pitch material,mode tonality and rhythm beat,analyzes the pitch construction logic with the fourth degree material as the core,integrates the western ancient and modern tonality concept,and the personalized rhythm design based on numerical control thinking,variation thinking and counterpoint technology,so as to show the composer’s creative thinking based on multiple music cultures;The fourth chapter explores the sound landscape created by Zhou long based on timbre copying,timbre filling and other techniques,explores the composer’s innovative expansion of the expressiveness of traditional piano concertos,and discusses his timbre concept based on the charm of Chinese traditional culture.Finally,the author will discuss the cultural implication,philosophical thinking and national temperament highlighted in the works in the conclusion,and then use the case study to explore Zhou Long’s recent creative ideas,so as to provide reference for the creation of Chinese contemporary music and the dissemination of traditional culture.
