| The skill training in second language teaching is generally divided into five aspects: listening,speaking,reading,writing,and translating,among which the speaking skill is particularly important in terms of the practicality of language communication.With decades of development,the oral teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has formed a teaching mode with unique characteristics,but the oral teaching involves a wide range of contents and heavy tasks,so the teaching should be phased with emphasis to achieve its goals.The overseas students at the primary oral level studying in Guizhou Province were selected as the research objectives in this paper,and before teaching,the learners’ willingness to learn Guizhou regional culture as an oral topic in class and their current cultural level were researched,and then Guizhou regional culture is introduced to the primary oral class of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,whose purpose is to prove the effectiveness of applying the topic in the primary oral class for overseas students in Guizhou through teaching experiments.Moreover,the exploration of the oral teaching field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the regional culture is still at a preliminary stage.It is hoped that through the application of Guizhou regional culture in the primary oral teaching,some thoughts can be provided on the development of the regional culture of teaching Chinese as a foreign language under the background of the new period.This teaching experiment was carried out by Ding Talk APP for two months,covering 25 students.Before the teaching,a pre-oral test was conducted to the students in this study so as to analyze their knowledge of Guizhou culture and their current oral proficiency,and after the teaching experiment,a post-oral test and a feedback questionnaire survey were carried out.After that,the data of pre-oral and post-oral tests and feedback questionnaires were collected to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis,showing as follows: first,the students’ oral proficiency has been significantly improved in the post-test,as evidenced by their better performance in terms of oral fluency,accuracy and complexity than in the pre-test,especially the fluency.The improvements in accuracy and complexity mainly lie in that the students make great progress in pronunciation and vocabulary,and so does in syntax,but there is no obvious difference between the pre-and post-tests;second,according to the data collected from the questionnaire survey,learners are satisfied with the input of Guizhou regional culture into the oral class of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and also agree that their oral level has been improved.Therefore,we believe that the application of Guizhou regional culture in primary oral teaching is effective.Namely,taking regional culture as an oral topic can stimulate learners’ oral expressions more and improve their spoken abilities.This paper also makes a further reflection and summary on the teaching practice and puts forward some suggestions for the related problems. |
