The "performed culture" approach is a second language pedagogues with the goal of performing culture. It is also an popular second language teaching theory, which has practical guiding meaning on oral teaching for Chinese as a foreign language. It takes the study of second language as cultural behavior which is in the target cultural environment. Learning a second language is to perform and act the cultural behavior. Teachers permeate cultural factors into all the process of oral teaching, so that the learners can make a smooth language communication on the basis of understanding Chinese culture.Nowadays, our foreign language teacher should give full play to the advantages of oral Chinese teaching, to change the traditional teaching method of teacher teaching and students listening. The focus of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, is how to make the students know the behavior rules and requirements of different culture, and how to design the performance in the target culture, and then accumulate the knowledge of the target culture and construct the world view of the second culture, and so we can make the students use the foreign language correctly in the future. Practice proved that, students who learn oral Chinese have much more learning interest and efficiency under the "guiding" and "performing" language environment. Of course, there isn’t a perfect teaching method that can deal with all the teaching problems. We should encourage everybody to bring his new ideas, to exchange experiences and to discuss in order to deal with some teaching problems. It is that "Teaching is not fixed, as long as the use of the method".This paper explains that the very fruitful teaching method is how to build, promote and develop from theory to practice, and how to practice in the oral teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. The teaching method has a guiding significance mainly in the following aspects: how to improve the efficiency of the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, to realize the ultimate goal of foreign language teaching and teach the students how to communicate in Chinese. At the same time, the teaching method has the enlightenment significance for us on Chinese international education professionals to carry out the teaching Chinese as a foreign language and other kinds of language teaching.
