| In the Ming and qing novels have a lot of works on suzhou city writing,including representative works include: “San Yan”“Er Pai”“Nv Cai Zi Shu”“Wu Meng Hua Fang Lu”“Qing Jia Lu”“Hong Lou Meng” etc.,these works as the main background with suzhou,showed the local flavor of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in Suzhou city and the folk custom culture content,the content provides a good material for the study of urban culture.So this thesis from the Ming and Qing novels in Suzhou city culture,these novels in suzhou city citizen image,regional culture,folk culture,and other content under the aesthetic perspective of the study.The first chapter studies the character images of Suzhou city in the Novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties,divides the character images into two categories: female and male,and then analyzes several categories with obvious characteristics,including brothel girl,gentlewoman,pure traveler,scholar and businessman.As the main part of the city,it is a realistic reference for the character image shaping in the literary creation.Through the analysis of the characteristics of the character image in the novel,it can be seen that the city citizens are obviously affected by the impact of economic development,their thoughts have changed,and their life values that attach importance to talent and friendship are highlighted.The second chapter focuses on the geographical study of Suzhou city in the Novels of Ming and Qing Dynasties,including the “water town” with natural geographical characteristics,the mysterious view represented by landmark buildings,and the garden represented by human landscape.The flow of water symbolizes the inclusive cultural characteristics of Suzhou.As a place of religion and entertainment,the metaphysical view shows the spiritual belief of people in Suzhou city.Garden art reflects that suzhou people begin to permeate aesthetic thoughts in daily life and attach importance to the construction of spiritual world.The third chapter focuses on the urban citizen culture in Ming and Qing novels,including festival activities,folk culture.Suzhou characteristic festival activities contain rich connotation of humanistic spirit;Folk culture mainly includes Suzhou embroidery and Kunqu opera,which can be said to reflect suzhou people’s high requirements for fine and elegant life quality,and is also the representative existence of suzhou city spiritual culture.The novels of The Ming and Qing Dynasties and Suzhou are interdependent and achieve each other.Because the description of suzhou city in the novel shows its unique region,and suzhou city also has more cultural value because of the embellishment of the novel,so the novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties have important research value and significance for the reproduction of suzhou city regional culture.This paper discusses suzhou city culture in novels of Ming and Qing dynasties from the perspectives of suzhou’s geographical characteristics,architecture,cultural landscape and folk culture,Suzhou,as the center of jiangnan region,is characterized by its poetic culture featuring aesthetics and art.Gardens,kunqu opera and other local cultures can reflect the aesthetic and artistic characteristics of Suzhou culture. |
