Suzhou, as one of the most developed cities in Ming and Qing, scored brilliant achievements in commercial trade, Cultural Arts and City Spirit. Suzhou, also as the national garden city, made remarkable achievements in garden design and construction . Ming and Qing Dynasty also witnessed the reform of Kunqu schools and studies in Suzhou , the birthplace of Kunqu.
