Driven by the goal of high quality development of education in China,education quality and equity in basic education stage have been widely concerned.At the same time,the number of students with special needs has increased significantly in schools.Because of the diversity of students,their learning needs are not the same.Therefore,integrated education has gradually become the focus of basic education.Based on primary School English classes,this study investigates the current situation of integrated education in this region,explores the problems existing in the current integrated education system.And then analyze the causes,and put forward some countermeasures.Based on the reading and sorting of relevant literature,this study firstly observed the English class,and recorded the teaching process in the form of observation diary.During this period,10 English teachers,2 resource teachers and 2 parents of children with special needs were interviewed,and 2 children were briefly communicated during quitting time.According to the observation and interview results,the following findings are found:1.At present,it is difficult for children with special needs to be integrated into English classes;2.Teachers’ attitude towards the integration of children with special needs into the classroom is very negative,and there is a lack of teaching strategies for students’ differentiated needs in English class;3.Parents avoid their children’s special needs and have low expectations for their children’s learning;4.Schools lack support for teachers’ integrated classroom teaching;5.Government education departments have not formed a integrated education system,and there is no mature system support for integrated education management.The main problems are summarized as follows:1.The construction of integrated education system is not complete;2.Low attention from parents;3.Lack of integrated ability of teachers.Through the understanding and analysis of the current situation of education,the main reasons are as follows: First,the promotion of urban integration education is not enough,the investment of integration education resources is insufficient,and there is a lack of coordination among various integration subjects;Second,the education concept of parents is backward;Thirdly,the teachers lack the concept and ability of integrated education.Based on the analysis of the causes of the problems,the following countermeasures are put forward: Firstly,to improve the support system of integrated education,based on the concept of collaborative innovation,to improve the recognition degree of the integration of the main body,coupled with sufficient resources,and finally promote the collaborative progress of the integration education of each main body;Secondly,based on the concept of empowerment,parents should be given help from the concept and method to change the traditional concept of learning and improve parents’ attention to integrated education.Finally,it focuses on improving teachers’ integration ability from both concept and ability,and further improving teachers’ initiative for integration work under the action of incentive mechanism.
