Creation Logic And Image Expression Of Observational Documentary

Observational documentaries since birth,with no script,no design,no control,no interference with the subject of language expression,such as behavior as a criterion,the photographer to "watch" perspective to calm "observation" under the specific environment of people and events,focusing on human nature through simple image show poet,light.The strong sense of reality and the sense of the scene in the camera reaches the audience’s spirit.In the current era of fast-food culture,"observation" as a classic creation method of documentary is still favored by many documentary creators at home and abroad.This paper explores the creation logic and image expression of observational documentary from the perspective of documentary theory.The first part introduces the content,background,significance and core issues of this paper to understand the current research status and trend at home and abroad,and expounds the research purpose and main content of this paper.The second part analyzes "observation" as a creative method and an aesthetic style by explaining and sorting out the concept and development of observational documentary.The third part systematically discusses the creation logic of observational documentary from three levels: the establishment of spectator narrative perspective,the application of documentary creation techniques,and the return of humanistic spirit in the new era.The fourth part further expounds the image expression of observational documentary through the three dimensions of visual,auditory and comprehensive aspects through personal practice work "How to Return at Dusk".
