| Objective: Through a randomized controlled study, the purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis under the guidance of Shaoyang main bone theory, and to provide a new treatment scheme for clinic. Methods: From January 2022 to January 2023,68 patients with knee osteoarthritis in the inpatient department and outpatient department of Hunan Integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 34)and control group(n =34).The control group was treated with 0.2g/,twice a day,and sodium hyaluronate injection into the articular cavity of the knee joint, once a week for 2 weeks. On the basis of the control group, the treatment group was treated with acupuncture under the guidance of Shaoyang main bone theory(acupoint selection of calf nose, inner knee eye, blood sea,Yanglingquan,Zusanli,Liangqiu, knee Yangguan,Fengshi,Taichong,Xuanzhong),once a day,the course of treatment was 2 weeks。Observe the changes in Western Ontario and Mc Master Universities Arthritis Index(WOMAC),Visual Analog Scale(VAS),and Japanese Orthopaedic Society(JOA)scores before and after treatments. The safety of the test is evaluated by monitoring safety indicators and recording the number of adverse events. Results: 1.General data analysis: a total of 68 patients with knee osteoarthritis were included in this study.2 cases in the treatment group were excluded due to poor compliance and 2 cases in the control group fell off,so 64 cases were actually included in the statistics,32 cases in the treatment group and 32 cases in the control group. There was no significant difference in sex, age, course of disease, comparison of affected side,WOMAC score,VAS score and JOY score between the two groups before treatment.2.WOMAC score: the WOMAC scores of the two groups before and after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the WOMAC scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment.3.VAS score: the VAS scores of the two groups before and after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the VAS scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment.4.JOY score: the JOY scores of the two groups before and after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the JOY scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment.5.Overall clinical efficacy evaluation: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.8%,and that of the control group was 71.9%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).6.Safety comparison: in the course of clinical observation, there were no obvious adverse reactions or serious adverse events in the control group and the treatment group. Conclusion: Both the Shaoyang main bone theory acupuncture group and the simple western medicine treatment group can improve the knee joint function, and the Shaoyang main bone theory acupuncture group is better than the simple western medicine treatment group in improving the knee joint function, which is worthy of further research and clinical promotion. |
