| Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Sanhuang Fuyuan Decoction retention enema on diversion colitis after radical resection of rectal cancer plus protective ileostomy.Methods: A total of 40 patients who had diversion colitis,received radical resection of rectal cancer plus protective ileostomy in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022,and met the inclusive and exclusive criteria were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 20 cases in each group.The treatment group was given Sanhuang Fuyuan Decoction retention enema,and the control group was given metronidazole sodium chloride plus dexamethasone sodium phosphate retention enema.The improvements of the two groups,including colonoscopy manifestations,histopathological examination,modified Mayo score and TCM syndrome score,were observed and compared before and after treatment,and statistical analysis was conducted to evaluate the clinical effect of Sanhuang Fuyuan Decoction.Results:1.There was no statistical difference in the comparison of general data of enrolled subjects(P > 0.05);2.Colonoscopy Manifestation: Electronic colonoscopy was reexamined after treatment.And in both groups,the colonoscopy manifestation was significantly improved compared with that before treatment(P < 0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).3.Histopathological Rating: After treatment,there was a significant difference between the two groups,and the proportion of grade 0-1 in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05);4.Modified Mayo Score: After 3 weeks of retention enema treatment and 2 weeks after ileostomy reduction,the scores and total scores of hematochezia and anal dilatation in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05);5.TCM Syndrome Score and Curative Effect: After treatment,the total score of both groups decreased significantly(P < 0.01),and the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group(P < 0.05);The total effective rate of control group was higher than that of control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Sanhuang Fuyuan Decoction retention enema is effective in the colonoscopy manifestation and histopathology of diversion colitis,and can reduce the occurrence of symptoms related to diversion colitis after ileostomy reduction. |
