Objective: To study the clinical efficacy of pivot meridian massage combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, and provide new ideas for clinical treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Method: Sixty patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 30 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with pivot massage combined with electroacupuncture, while the control group was treated with conventional massage combined with electroacupuncture, once a day for 10 days, for a total of 2 courses. The differences in VAS and JOA scores between the two groups before and after treatment were compared, and the clinical efficacy was analyzed and evaluated.Result: 1.There was no statistically significant difference in gender, age, course of disease, and corresponding observation indicators between the two groups of patients(P>0.05),indicating comparability between the two groups.2.Intragroup comparison: The VAS scores of the two groups of patients were compared. The observation group showed a significant decrease after treatment compared to before treatment(P<0.01),while the control group showed a significant decrease after treatment compared to before treatment(P<0.01);The JOA scores of the two groups of patients were compared. The observation group showed a significant improvement after treatment compared to before treatment(P<0.01),while the control group showed a significant improvement after treatment compared to before treatment(P<0.01);Indicating that both treatment options can effectively improve patient symptoms.3.Inter group comparison: After treatment, the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),while the JOA score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);4.Comparison of therapeutic effects: After treatment, the therapeutic effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.01).There were 30 cases in the observation group,5 cases were cured,15 cases were significantly improved,7 cases were effective, and 3 cases were ineffective, with a total effective rate of 90.00%;There are a total of 30 cases in the control group,with3 cases cured,10 cases significantly improved,10 cases effective, and 7 cases ineffective. The total effective rate is 76.66%.Conclusion: 1.Both the pivot meridian massage combined with electroacupuncture group and the conventional massage combined with electroacupuncture group have good clinical effects on lumbar disc herniation, with significant improvements in clinical symptoms, signs, and daily living ability;2.Compared to the conventional massage combined with electroacupuncture group, the pivot meridian massage combined with electroacupuncture group has better clinical efficacy, stronger operability, and more clinical promotion significance.
