Purpose: To observe the effects and safety of radiofrequency thermo coagulation andtarget ablation combined with massage technique treatment of lumbar disc herniation, theobjective to evaluate the efficacy and safety, provide the basis for the clinical application ofthe technology.Method: Selected met the inclusion criteria lumbar disc herniation symptoms of120patients,were randomly divided into three groups (40cases in each group).group A (treatmentgroup) using RF target coagulation therapy combined with massage techniques, and group Bwith simple RF, group C with simple massage techniques therapy, massage techniques used intwo courses, two courses of treatment efficacy analysis confirmed that the two methods ofclinical response, superior to simple treatment. The observe-d VAS, and the China Academy ofOrthopaedic Surgeons Spine Study Group low back pain surgery score. After June with themodified Macnab criteria to assess the effect.Result:1、Three groups of patients’ gender, age, body weight, duration and type ofpreoperative VAS score of group comparison showed no significant difference(P>0.05).2、Compared with preoperative VAS scores, three groups of the VAS after treatment wereimproved scores are significantly reduced(P<0.01),Group B3days after surgery comparedwith group A, P<0.05,C and A, B group compared with P<0.01,3、Assessed according to theChina Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Spine Study Group low back pain surgeryscore.A,B,C, three groups after surgery in January,March,June surgery score compared withpatients before significant increase(P<0.01).group B,C,after January,March,June, surgery scorecompared with group A scores were significantly reduced(P<0.05)4、Assessed according tothe modified Macnab criteria, group A after6months of treatment excellent and good ratewas92.5%, significantly better than group B(82.5%,P<0.05),Group C(65%,P<0.01).Conclusion:RF target thermal coagulation combination of massage techniques with asimple radio frequency treatment,no significant simple massage therapy in the treatment oflumbar disc herniation. In reducing pain in patients with straight leg raising test, and dailyliving skills was statistically significant,RF target thermal coagulation effect is significantcombination of massage techniques,RF target thermal coagulation combined with massagetechniques was safe and effective.
