Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Post-stroke Depression With Combined Eye Acupuncture And Body Acupunctur

Purpose: Study the clinical effect of eye acupuncture and normal acupuncture compared with Jieyu pills on patients with post-stroke depression and observe the two methods’ clinical feedback.Material and methods:In this study,60 patients who were divided from the Second Department of Encephalopathy Rehabilitation of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2021 to September 2022,according to the diagnostic criteria,inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria and 60 cases were randomly divided into two groups,including the experimental group and the control group,each group has thirty people.In the experimental group,depends on the symptoms of the patients of the eye acupuncture were selected and the main acupoints were Baihui、Yintang、Shenmen、Taichong、Neiguan、 Danzhong of the normal acupuncture.The control group took Jieyu pills therapy 4g each time,3 times a day.Two groups were treated for one course of treatment.And one course lasts 4 weeks.The National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)、The Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)、Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and Activities of daily living(ADL)scores of patients in two groups before and after 4 weeks treatment were being observed.The clinical recovery rate and total effective rate were compared between the two groups.SPSS22.0 was used for statistical analysis.Results:1.Compared with the two groups showed that there were statistically apparant differences in NIHSS score,HAMD score,SDS score and ADL score between the experimental group and the control group after treatment(P < 0.05).2.Compared with the two groups showed that after 4 weeks of treatment,the experimental group was significantly better than the control group in improving NIHSS score,HAMD score,SDS score and ADL score,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).3.Compared among these two groups showed that the clinical recovery rate and total effective rate of experimental group were significantly higher than the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).4.During the treatment,no apparent side effects happened in the two groups.Conclusions:1.Eye acupuncture and normal acupuncture therapy and Jieyu pills are both effective in treating post-stroke depression with no apparent side effects happened.2.Eye acupuncture and normal acupuncture therapy is better than Jieyu pills in treating depression after stroke by improving patients mood and enh patients living standards.
