Clinical Observation On The Efficacy Of Eye Acupuncture Combined With Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation In The Treatment Of Post-stroke Depressio

Purpose: To observe the clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture combined with t DCS on PSD(Post-Stroke Depression,PSD),and compare the changes of depression degree、daily living ability、sleep quality before and after treatment,with the aim to provide new thinkings and methods for treating PSD.Material and Method: According to the inclusion and exclusion,a total of 60 patients with post-stroke depression were elected,and all of them had hospitalized in the brain K2 ward of the Rehabilitation Center of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,with the date of December 2020 to November 2021.And they were divided into the experimental group and the control group(30 cases in each)by using the random number table method.Both groups were given basic treatment after stroke,including conventional medical treatment and rehabilitation training.On this basis,the experimental group was given eye acupuncture combined with t DCS,once/day,5 times/week;the control group was given Luyoutai(300 mg/time,2 times/day,orally).After four weeks of treatment,the scores were compared between the two groups before and after treatment in Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),daily living ability scale(Modified Barthel Index,MBI)and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),and also comparing the differences of the clinical efficacy between the two groups.All of the data was statistically analyzed by using SPSS23.0 software,and P<0.05 means the difference has statistics significance.Results:1.In the patients’ general information,the results of statistical analysis between the two groups showed that they have no significant difference,in age,gender,stroke type,and course of disease(P>0.05).2.In HAMD score,there was no significant difference between two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the HAMD score of both groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),and the experimental group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The difference in scores in the experimental group was significantly greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).3.In the modified Barthel index(MBI),there was no significant difference between two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the MBI scores of both groups was significantly higher than that before treatment(P < 0.05),and the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group(P < 0.05),and the difference in scores in the experimental group was significantly greater than that in the control group(P < 0.05).4.In PSQI score,there was no significant difference between two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the PSQI score of both groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),and the experimental group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The difference in scores in the experimental group was significantly greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).5.After treatment,the experimental group has the total effective rate of 90.00%,and the control group has 73.33%.The clinical efficacy of the experimental group was obviously better than that of the control group,in a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture combined with t DCS in the treatment of post-stroke depression is definite.2.Eye acupuncture combined with t DCS therapy can obviously improve the degree of depression,daily living ability and sleep quality in patients with post-stroke depression,and the effect is better than Luyoutai.3.Eye acupuncture combined with t DCS therapy has the advantages including obvious curative effect、less side effects.And it is worthy of clinical promotion.
