Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Functional Constipation By Acupoint Thread Embedding Combined With Auricular Acupoint Tapin

Objective: In this study,two methods of functional constipation treatment were compared,namely acupoint catgut-embedding combined with auricular acupoint sticking treatment and lactulose oral solution treatment,so as to obtain a better treatment method for functional constipation.Methods: 60 patients with functional constipation who met the criteria were equally divided into treatment group and control group according to the randomized controlled trial method,both set by four weeks as a course of treatment.The treatment group was treated with acupoint catgut-embedding combined with auricular acupoint sticking,and the control group was treated with lactulose oral liquid.After one course of treatment,I recorded and analyzed constipation symptom scores,clinical efficacy and quality of life of patients in both groups,then visited all patients in one month after the end of the course of treatment,Meanwhile,it’s essential to evaluated the safety of all patients during the whole study.Results: Before treatment,there was no significant difference between treatment group and control group in age,gender,course of disease,total score of symptoms and quality of life scale of constipation patients(P>0.05),indicating both groups were comparability.After one course of treatment,the total symptom score of the two groups decreased significantly compared with before,furthermore the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).However,the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).In terms of clinical efficacy,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.00%,and that of the control group was 73.33%.It seemed that the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).PAC-QOL score in control group decreased significantly(P<0.05).One month after the end of treatment,the total symptom score of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the means of acupoint catgut-embedding combined with auricular acupoint sticking was superior to only taking oral lactulose in improving medium and long-term symptom scores(P<0.05).In terms of clinical efficacy,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 80.00%,while that of the control group was 56.67%.The treatment group was superior to the control group by statistical analysis(P<0.05).Conclusion: Acupoint-embedding combined with auricular acupoint sticking can effectively improve the symptoms of patients with functional constipation,thus improving the quality of life,and it has lasting efficacy,with no adverse reactions and toxic side effects,thus worthy of clinical promotion.
