With the rise of ethnic tourism economy,consumers prefer Miao cultural products with personalized emotional expression.However,the ambiguity and uncertainty in the positioning of user needs by enterprises limit the diversification of Miao products.To this end,this study integrates Peirce’s semiotics,user cluster theory,perceptual engineering and physiological measurement techniques,and proposes a Peirce’s trichotomy joint user cluster approach to Miao cultural imagery product design,aiming to meet consumers’ differentiated perceptual needs,with the following main research elements:Firstly,we construct a web-based cultural event text set based on web crawlers,and extract the perceptual imagery set based on TF-IDF algorithm;implement EEG experiments using perceptual imagery and event text,and clarify 0 times perceptual through EEG data analysis;further infer cultural imagery words and product base forms based on category categorical perceptual engineering,and form a method based on EEG technology and web-based event text imagery miningSecondly,through the combination of Pierce’s trichotomy and user cluster theory,the Miao cultural runes that match the cultural cognition and preference of cluster users are selected to establish the Miao cultural runes set;the Miao cultural runes set preferred by cluster users is analyzed and deconstructed based on the modeling analysis method to obtain the Miao cultural runes modeling category,and a deconstruction method of Miao cultural runes based on Pierce’s trichotomy combined with user clusters is established.Furthermore,based on the eye-movement experimental analysis of cluster users’ imagery perception,the cluster imagery-symbol mapping model was constructed by using partial least squares multiple regression analysis with Miao symbol design elements as independent variables and cluster subjects’ imagery evaluation data as dependent variables.Finally,a case practice was carried out based on the cluster user image-symbol mapping model and the product base form.The results show that the design solution can meet the differentiated needs of cluster users and verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.The Miao cultural imagery product design based on the Pierce’s trilogy joint user cluster can achieve the accurate positioning of target consumers,improve the perceptual matching between users’ Miao cultural needs and design elements,thus effectively promote the innovative design and development of Miao cultural and creative products,and promote the dissemination and development of Miao culture.
