Research On The Enhancement Path Of Farmers’ Rural Cultural Identity In The Context Of Rural Revitalization

Rural revitalization is a comprehensive development strategy proposed by the 19 th Party Congress to integrate rural economy,politics,culture,society,ecological civilization and Party construction.The 20 th Party Congress further proposed to comprehensively promote the revitalization of the countryside.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "a prosperous culture is a prosperous nation,and a strong culture is a strong nation".Rural revitalization not only requires "shaping" but also "casting the soul",and "culture" is the soul of rural revitalization.In the process of modernization,the enhancement of modernity inevitably brings about a pluralistic concept of "de-agriculturalization" under the urban-rural gap,which in addition challenges the differential pattern of rural society,resulting in the weakening of blood and local identity,the emergence of different degrees of cultural disconnection among farmers,and the change of farmers’ consensus and recognition of rural culture,resulting in a crisis of rural cultural identity,which seriously affects and restricts the development of rural culture.Under such a realistic background,it is necessary to attach importance to the role of farmers as the main body of rural construction,enhance farmers’ identification with rural culture,gathering consensus on cultural construction in farmers’ villages,excavate and protect the outstanding rural culture,generate endogenous power to promote rural cultural revitalization,and meet the realistic demand of comprehensively promoting rural revitalization.This paper takes the four first provincial model villages of rural cultural revitalization in Chengdu,Sichuan Province as the research sites,and adopts empirical research methods such as case interviews,coding analysis of rooted theory and questionnaire surveys to grasp the current situation of farmers’ rural cultural identity,and uses this as the research perspective to explore the influencing factors of farmers’ rural cultural identity,explore the corresponding paths of improvement,and strive to guide farmers’ rural construction practices in the direction required for the comprehensive construction of a socialist modern country.The paper focuses on five aspects of the study: First,the relevant concepts are explained,the theoretical basis for the study is discussed,and the necessity of the research topic is determined on this basis.The content system of farmers’ rural cultural identity assessment is constructed based on the rooting theory,and the content of formal culture,normative culture and value culture are determined to constitute the framework of farmers’ rural cultural identity assessment.Based on the assessment content framework,a questionnaire on farmers’ rural cultural identity was prepared in three basic aspects of rural cultural cognition,emotion and behavior,and the current situation of rural cultural identity and group differences were analyzed.Based on the results of the questionnaire,we analyzed the factors affecting farmers’ rural cultural identity and found that on the one hand,individual factors include the degree of farmers’ subjectivity,farmers’ personal values,social interactions among farmers and farmers’ individual cultural memory;on the other hand,environmental factors include the real environment of rural culture,group public norms,mainstream social value orientation and policy environment.Fifth,based on the results of the analysis of the current situation of farmers’ rural cultural identity and the influencing factors,this paper proposes countermeasures to enhance farmers’ rural cultural identity from both social and individual perspectives,based on the level of farmers’ identity tendencies and their differences: to grasp the political direction distinctly and firm farmers’ cultural identity will;to ensure supply and promote quality improvement and strengthen farmers’ cultural cognitive identity;to optimize experience and guide We need to ensure supply to promote quality improvement and strengthen farmers’ cultural cognitive identity;we need to optimize experience to guide emotional tendencies and stimulate farmers’ cultural emotional identity;we need to awaken empathy to promote cultural participation and enhance farmers’ cultural behavioral identity.In general,on the basis of perfect institutional norms and solid material guarantee,we should attach importance to improving farmers’ personal quality and their sense of identity,gathering rural cultural consensus,and realizing rural cultural revitalization on the basis of improving farmers’ rural cultural identity,so as to comprehensively promote the rural revitalization strategy.
