Audiovisual Language Expression Of Documentary Films Of Intangible Cultural Heritage

Intangible cultural heritage records the outstanding civilization that human beings have preserved from ancient times to the present.Intangible cultural heritage contains the cultural genes,spiritual connotation,life style,historical characteristics and other core factors of people of all ethnic groups in the world.It is also a living culture that meets human’s natural,social and spiritual needs.Qufu Sanbao is three representative national and provincial intangible cultural heritage projects in the city of Qufu.Their production characteristics and cultural connotations are inseparable from Qufu’s long history and cultural value.Water and soil on one side nourish people on the other side.The inheritors of Qufu Intangible cultural heritage have always adhered to the craftsmanship spirit of dedication,lean,focus and innovation,never forget the original intention,remember the mission,and carry forward and inherit Qufu intangible cultural heritage culture and skills.The unique regional culture and humanistic spirit of Qufu Sanbao jointly construct a beautiful aesthetic image.Documentary films,as an emerging comprehensive art of film and television,have a unique language form,namely audio-visual language,also known as film and television language.The audio-visual language of documentaries covers both sound and visual aspects,which can be used to express ideas,convey emotions,and complete narratives.The graduation work "Human Craftsmanship Takes the Heavenly Crafts" is a documentary covering three traditional handicraft projects of Intangible cultural heritage in Qufu.The rich audio-visual language in the documentary reflects the humanistic spirit and cultural connotations of Qufu’s local intangible cultural heritage.This article takes the example of the graduation creation "The Craft of the World" to discuss how the audio-visual language of documentaries expresses and shapes aesthetic imagery from the perspective of sound and visuals.The paper is divided into five chapters: Chapter 1 discusses the background,significance,literature review,and research methods of the topic.Chapter 2 discusses the concept of intangible cultural heritage themed documentaries and related theories of audio-visual language expression.Chapter 3 explores how the visual language used in the graduation creation of "Human Craftsmanship Strives for Heavenly Craft" expresses and reflects the aesthetic value of intangible cultural heritage themed documentaries from a visual perspective.Chapter 4 discusses the aesthetic value of auditory language in graduation creation from the perspective of sound.Chapter 5 is a reflection and summary of graduation creation,analyzing the shortcomings of theoretical research in practical operation.
