The small food stalls have a long history of signage,but their development is immature and inconsistent with urban management.With the development of society and the improvement of the small food stall environment,small food signage needs to adapt to the needs of society.Through research,it has been found that small food signage and stall designs are very similar,and the design of signage is only for simple advertising purposes,lacking visual aesthetics.With the push of the artificial intelligence wave,street small food signs are facing a huge transformation.From a designer’s perspective,it is necessary to think about how to efficiently and cost-effectively solve the problem of homogeneous signage design.This paper attempts to propose an intelligent design tool for snack signboards based on generative functions,and elaborates on its process methods and design ideas.In this process,signboard designers collaborate with snack vendors to co-create snack signboard designs.The article first cross-examines relevant theories and concepts of generative design and page design through data collection and literature research,deducing the application thinking and presentation methods in the intelligentization of snack signboards.Secondly,the article conducts field visits to well-known local snack streets to understand the types of existing stalls and the visual distribution range of signboards,and to identify stalls with intelligentization needs.Then,in-depth interviews are conducted with stall owners and signboard designers,and questionnaire surveys are conducted with consumers to collect information on signboard design and production requirements,and the data is collated and analyzed to summarize the problems that need to be solved.In the design practice part,the signboard research requirements are presented in web design using available generative functions.By constructing an intelligentized process for snack signboard pages,sorting out high-frequency generative design patterns,and building an intelligent signboard design platform,the operating process of the page is elaborated in detail,and a series of visual and extension designs are completed.The use of snack signboard intelligent generation pages can assist signboard designers to a certain extent,solve the needs of some snack vendors,and address the problem of homogeneous signboard design.In addition,it can also inspire cross-domain creators to use the power of technology to meet the needs of design enthusiasts for participation in creation.
