Generative design refers to constructing design blueprints,outputting design solutions,and producing solutions based on programming means,and any of the stages of this process can be iterated through repeated iterations of the solutions with the aim of generating more possibilities in the process.With the development of computer technology as well as artificial intelligence,data has gradually become the most dominant form of information.In the presence of a large amount of complex data,the use of generative design methods can provide solutions for visual design in the complex context of a large amount of data,and the optimization idea of iterative iteration in generative design can cope with some design goals whose performance criteria are difficult to quantify.This design takes the visualization of music "Sword Weapon Dance" as an example,and adopts an interdisciplinary research approach to explore from the perspective of art design,combining computer disciplines and music visualization theories.Theoretical research part: analyze the development background and main characteristics of generative design,explore the construction,definition and iterative path of generative design in design projects,explore the connection between data and vision in the generative path;analyze the connection between visual presentation and data mapping in music visualization,as well as the development trajectory and application trend of the combination of generative design and music visualization,and provide the theoretical come and basis for the practical design part.This will provide a theoretical basis for the practical design part.Design practice: Based on the construction logic of generative design,the visualization design practice of the music "Sword Dance" is carried out by using parametric programming.Through the combination of the dance form and aesthetic ideas of the sword dance with the visual elements and expression forms in the practice,and the combination of the timbre and rhythm of the music with the dynamic presentation of rhythm and rules in the practice,we will explore the specific construction process of the combination of generative design and music visualization,and test the workflow of iterative design,clarify the specific structure of each part of the design,and finally realize the interactive design of visual and auditory,breaking the generative design.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the background of this study,analyzes the current situation of the study and some problems,and presents the purpose,significance,method and content of the study.Chapter 2 introduces the concepts,principles and applications around the two areas of this research: generative design and music visualization.Chapter 3 explores the architecture of the generative system and theoretically explores the path of combining generative design and music visualization.Chapter 4 then applies the previous theoretical exploration to a specific music visualization design,using the music "Sword Weapon Dance" as an example.Chapter 5 concludes this study with the prospect of follow-up work. |
