| In modern Chinese,relating words can be used to connect clauses in complex sentences,and indicating the relationship between clauses.Whether the relating words can be used correctly determines whether the foreign students can accurately express the discourse.In the process of practice,the author found that the use of related words in spoken Chinese by intermediate and advanced Chinese learners is not ideal.In the past,most of the research corpus on the oral expression of foreign students was collected in classroom practice or oral test.Such corpus lacks the randomness and sociability of oral expression to a certain extent.The variety show of Informal Talks,a form of conversation and communication,gathered26 guests from all over the world with intermediate and advanced Chinese levels before and after,and discussed the current hot topics in Chinese on the program.Their dialogue is a new entrance to the study of high-level Chinese students.In this study,the effective speeches of all foreign students in the first season of Informal Talks were transcribed into text corpora,and a corpus was established.Then,the use of conjunctions in the spoken Chinese of the guests was studied.The research content can be divided into four aspects : The first is to classify and count the errors in the use of related words in the corpus,analyze the rules of errors,and summarize the causes of errors.The second is to compare the use of related words between foreign students and Chinese native speakers,and analyze the weaknesses of foreign students ’ learning of related words;the third is to analyze the reasons for the errors of foreign students ’ related words;the fourth is to contact the errors of foreign students and their differences in the use of related words with Chinese native speakers,and to make suggestions for the teaching of related words in Chinese as a foreign language.The study found that : First,from the perspective of the category of related words,the most prone to errors is the connection,hypothesis,and causality related words,and the errors of the selection,interpretation,and purpose related words are relatively small.Second,when advanced foreign students use related words in spoken language,the categories that are most prone to errors are redundancy and omission.Third,the three types of related words with the highest frequency used by foreign students are undertaking,causality and turning relationship.Among them,the related words ‘then’ are used the most frequently,and the number of errors is the most.Fourth,when foreign students use related words,there are some words abuse,such as ‘then’,‘but’,‘and’,‘or’ and so on.Finally,according to the survey results,some teaching suggestions are given for the problems existing in the use of related words in oral expression. |
