The Reference And Integration Of The "Four Skills" Of Traditional Chinese Opera In Ethnic Opera Performance

"Four Skills" is a professional term in the field of traditional Chinese opera,which is a unique performance formula gradually explored by opera artists through continuous creation and practice.They are "singing","reciting","doing",and "hitting".Traditional Chinese opera has a development history of hundreds of years in China,and each period presents different characteristics.As a foreign art form,opera has been continuously studied and developed by playwrights for many years as a more expressive form of stage performance.If the "Four Skills" of traditional Chinese opera can be embedded in opera performances,it can fully integrate excellent traditional Chinese culture with foreign artistic forms of expression.It can not only present the "singing","reciting","doing",and "hitting" of traditional Chinese opera culture in a more universal form,but also allow the elements of traditional Chinese opera to bloom with new colors.This article is based on the author’s personal opera performance practice during his master’s degree,starting from the four skills of "singing," "reciting," "doing," and "fighting" in traditional Chinese opera.It explores how to better learn from and integrate the "four skills" of traditional Chinese opera in ethnic opera performance,and thus provides case reference for theoretical exploration in enhancing the appeal and influence of ethnic opera performance.This article focuses on the reference and research of the "Four Skills" of traditional Chinese opera in ethnic opera performances,and analyzes them from three aspects:The introduction section mainly introduces the reasons,research background and significance,research methods and strategies,and innovative aspects of the research topic of "The Reference Study of the ’Four Skills’ of Traditional Chinese Opera in Ethnic Opera Performance";Part 1: Definition of the scope and related concepts of this article;The second part: A study on the reference of the "Four Skills" of traditional Chinese opera in ethnic opera performance,based on the performance practice of the personal opera special "Wild Fire Spring Breeze Fighting against the Ancient City",analyzing the application of the four skills of traditional Chinese opera "singing","reciting","doing",and "hitting" in ethnic opera performance;The third part: From five perspectives: "singing"-integrating ethnic opera into traditional Chinese opera vocals,"reciting"-showcasing the ethnic style of opera,"doing"-the freehand style of ethnic opera,"playing"-the virtual performance of ethnic opera,and the integration of opera works and ethnic opera works,to elaborate on the inheritance and development of ethnic opera in traditional Chinese opera;Conclusion: Clarify that the performance art of Chinese ethnic opera is based on the artistic soil of Chinese culture,and gradually mature and independent by drawing on the quality and conditions suitable for its own development in Western opera,in order to explore the borrowing and learning of the "Four Skills" of traditional Chinese opera in ethnic opera performance.
