On "Keeping" And "Changing" Of Opera Performance Program

The inheritance and innovation of drama performance program has always been a controversial issue in the drama circle.This paper takes this as the starting point,from the perspective of performance law,through the induction and summary of their functions,experience and laws,re combs this problem,and gives examples of the innovation of drama performance program,so as to produce the thinking of the innovative development of drama performance program.The so-called "Shou" means to retain the valuable experience of previous artists and the law and essence of traditional opera performance procedures;The so-called "change" is the innovative development of traditional Chinese opera by using the uniqueness of opera performance program on the basis of "keeping".In a word,starting from "keeping",change must start with "keeping",and then produce "change".Opera actors must first master solid basic skills in order to carry out innovation in line with the rules of the program,eliminate errors in the process of innovation,find a correct way about the innovation of the performance program,and solve the contradiction between the traditional opera program performance and the creation of new plays in today’s living background,so as to facilitate opera actors to create more new works,and make opera,an ancient art form,keep up with the pace of the times and continue to prosper and develop.
