| Directional complements have always been an indispensable part in the Chinese language teachin g and “qilai” is the most frequently used directional complement.Juxtaposing “V+qilai” with a verb, the “V+qilai” structure is one of the teaching key and difficult points in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign lan guage due to the complexity of its syntactic structure and semantic meaning as well as its similarity to other“v-directional complements”.It’s very difficult for international students to master the structure. Therefore,an analysis of the errors made by these students when using the “V+qilai” structure can not only help the m better acquire the structure but also improve the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Based on previous research, this paper aims to take the verb directional pattern "V+qilai" as an example to illustrate the semantic types and syntactic collocation of the "V+qilai" structure.Using a graphical approach, the paper analyzes the trajectory and semantic characteristics of each semantic type of the “V+qilai” structure, summarizes its three syntactic structures when followed by an object, the application of "V+qilai" in "ba" sentences, and the co-occurrence relationship between "V+qilai" and "le".Secondly,a large number of errors are selected from the HSK dynamic composition corpus, and the errors are classified.By analyzing these semantic and syntactic errors of the "V+qilai" structure, the paper attempts to explore the causes of these errors, and make some suggestions for the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language so as to to help foreign students to acquire the complex "V+qilai" structure. |
