Antonio Pasculli is an oboe player and composer in Italy in the 19 th century,His oboe works occupy a revolutionary and leapfrog important position in the development of the oboe,Its main emphasis on the technical fragments and variations,It shows people different images of the oboe,It has also become a "benchmark" to measure the performance level of an oboe player,The Sicilian Vespers is Pasculli’s oboe adaptation of Verdi’s opera of the same name,Which is one of his most representative oboe works with its super showy technique and soft melodic,and it is indispensable for many oboe players to be on the world stage.The author studies Pasculli’s biography,oboe’s music creation,works style and music form structure,compared two different versions of the performance,And summed up the practice from multiple perspectives based on own playing experience,So that players can have adeeper understanding of Pasculli and better performance of Sicilian Vespers.
