| Learning community refers to an important form of learning organization formed by each learner through cooperation and communication,in order to achieve the goal of common development,and in the process of mutual listening and understanding.Classroom teaching is a key part of talent training.English,as a basic subject with both instrumental and humanistic characteristics,shoulders the important mission of cultivating students’ basic English quality and developing students’ thinking ability.Junior middle school English classroom teaching is relatively special,which requires English teachers to adopt "active" "cooperative" and "reflective" teaching methods in class.The construction of learning community is of great significance to the promotion of junior middle school English classroom teaching,so it is necessary to conduct in-depth and systematic discussion and research on it.First of all,through literature research,the author searches a large number of literature related to learning community and English classroom teaching,conducts theoretical research on the construction of learning community in junior high school English classroom teaching,and expounds the value and feasibility of the construction of learning community in junior high school English teaching,constituent elements and the essential characteristics of learning community in junior high school English classroom teaching.Secondly,under the guidance of learning community theory,constructivism learning theory and learning organization theory,through literature and theoretical research,150 junior high school English teachers and 580 junior high school students were surveyed by Teacher Questionnaire and Student questionnaire respectively at the macro level.Data were collected from the aspects of teachers’ teaching philosophy,teaching objectives,teaching methods,teaching reflection,students’ learning interests,learning styles,learning reflection and learning environment,and the construction of teachers’ teaching and students’ learning community were analyzed.Thirdly,at the micro level,through in-depth interviews with 18 junior high school English teachers and 20 junior high school students,this paper probes into teachers’ and students’ cognition of the construction of learning communities in English classrooms,and the construction and implementation of learning communities.It is found that there are problems such as teachers’ lack of understanding of learning community,students’ weak consciousness of subject,lack of equal interaction between teachers and students,and lack of cooperative ability between students and students.The main reasons are the solidification of teachers’ teaching ideas,the lack of students’ cooperative consciousness,the bondage of exam-oriented education system and the imprisonment of classroom teaching environment.Finally,based on the above analysis,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for constructing learning community in junior middle school English classroom teaching.The research suggests that the rational cognition and value orientation of teachers and students to the learning community can be improved from the two aspects of enhancing teachers’ rational cognition of the learning community and strengthening students’ awareness and ability of cooperative learning.Actively explore cooperation ways to promote the effective operation of the community,including establishing a common vision to enhance the cohesion of the learning community,strengthening the professional belief of teachers to improve the ability of education and teaching,and building a culture of teacher cooperation to promote the cooperation and exchange of teachers;To create a democratic classroom environment to achieve the self-generation of the community,it mainly includes three aspects:actively building a physical classroom environment for listening to dialogue,attaching importance to building a harmonious and rich psychological teaching environment,and paying attention to forming an inclusive and supportive language and culture environment,so as to realize the educational function of English subjects. |
