| The 13 th Five Year Plan for Educational Development of the People’s Republic of China in 2020 was clearly stated that the teacher should innovate the teaching model,promote their teaching level through the information technology,and take full advantage of high quality digital resources such as Flipped Classroom.As English writing is the reflection of students’ integrated use of linguistic knowledge,it occupies the important position in high school English teaching.At present,Flipped Classroom can vigorously promote the development of English writing in the direction of educational modernization.At the same time,it can achieve the students-centered,motivates the students’ learning initiative and enthusiasm.With the development of education information,various kind of automatic evaluation system has emerged like bamboo shoots after a spring rain.The automatic evaluation system is to fit for writing teaching,however,it also has some problems,such as,low interaction and immediacy,etc.Therefore,it is of practical significance to improve the efficiency of writing teaching by combining automatic evaluation system with the characteristics of the Flipped Classroom.The Virtual Learning Community is featured by virtuality,learnability and interactivity which contributes to broadening the learning approach,increasing teaching interactivity,etc.Thus,this study applied the Virtual Learning Community combines course management and writing teaching to design the Flipped Classroom model of senior high school English writing teaching based on Virtual Learning Community,and conducted the 16 weeks research to explore its efficiency.This study was practiced in a high school in Harbin,and selected 97 students in two classes senior two as the subjects.The main research questions include: First,what is the current status of senior high school English writing teaching based on the Flipped Classroom? Second,how to design the Flipped Classroom model of senior high school English writing teaching based on Virtual Learning Community? Third,does the Flipped Classroom model of senior high school English writing teaching based on Virtual Learning Community can enhance students’ writing performance and interest?This study analyzes and explores the first research question by used interviewing method.For the second question,this study design and apply the Flipped Classroom model of senior high school English writing teaching based on Virtual Learning Community which based on constructivism,Cooperative Learning with Deeper Learning,and overall consideration correlated study on domestic and overseas and the current status on Flipped Classroom.For the last question,this study uses blended research methods,on the one hand,SPSS24.0 software is used to compare the four test scores of the experimental class and the control class horizontally,and then the test scores of the experimental class are compared vertically again.On the other hand,through the questionnaire survey and interview after the research to further analyze and discuss the research conclusions,in order to understand the Flipped Classroom model of senior high school English writing teaching based on Virtual Learning Community influence of students’ writing performance and interest.The research shows that the Flipped Classroom model of senior high school English writing teaching based on Virtual Learning Community advanced teaching interactivity greatly,some activities such as vote,quick and mutual evaluation of compositions exercises the students’ thinking ability,stimulate students’ interest in writing greatly and enhance the sense of immersion in learning.Next,the learning data feedback of the Virtual Learning Community provides more accurate analysis of learning situation for teachers.Through the data analysis of students’ four test scores,combined with the results of questionnaire survey and interview,it is found that,the Flipped Classroom model of senior high school English writing teaching based on Virtual Learning Community can promote students’ writing performance and interest.This study explores the Flipped Classroom model of senior high school English writing teaching based on Virtual Learning Community which offers new research idea and perspective to development of educational informatization under the background of“Internet plus education”.However,this study also has some limitations,for example,short research period and small sample size,which still needs to be improved and optimized in the future research. |
