The curriculum standards for compulsory education propose that English teaching should emphasize the design of the Teaching-Learning-Evaluating Integration,adhere to the principle that evaluating should promote learning and teaching,and evaluating should be integrated into the whole process of English teaching.Then English curriculum evaluation system with multiple subjects,diversified methods and core literacy-oriented will be gradually established.Teaching-Learning-Evaluating Integration is that under the guidance of common teaching objectives,teachers’ teaching,students’ learning and evaluation for students should be integrated,the evaluation should play a part in the monitoring,diagnosis and feedback,and promote the realization of teaching objectives.Therefore,the effective teaching could be realized finally.Under the framework of teaching design concept and principle of Teaching-Learning-Evaluating Integration,this study aims to observe and analyze 12high-quality English lessons in the 15 th National Junior High School High-quality English courses in 2021 by using literature research method and classroom observation method,and aims to answer the following questions:(1)Do these high-quality lessons conform to the Teaching-Learning-Evaluating Integration?(2)What design principles are reflected in high-quality lessons that conform to the Teaching-Learning-Evaluating Integration?(3)If there are some high-quality lessons that do not conform to the Teaching-Learning-Evaluating Integration,what are the reasons?This study found that the 12 high-quality lessons did not fully conform to the teaching concept of Teaching-Learning-Evaluating Integration.The high-quality lessons which conform to the Teaching-Learning-Evaluating Integration should reflect the following principles:(1)The design of teaching objectives should point to students’ English core literacy;(2)The design of teaching activities should help improve students’ learning effect;(3)The design of the evaluation tasks should be conducive to the realization of promoting teaching and learning;(4)The design of evaluation methods should pay attention to all students;(5)Students should become the masters of classroom evaluation.The reasons of the high-quality lessons that do not conform to the concept of Teaching-Learning-Evaluating Integration are as follows:(1)There is no evaluation goal matching the teaching goal in the teaching design;(2)The design of teaching objective is unreasonable;(3)The evaluation information is not used rationally.Based on the above findings,this study can draw the following enlightenment:(1)Teaching objectives should be operable and evaluable;(2)Teaching evaluation should be directional;(3)Teaching activities should be flexible and innovative;(4)Evaluation methods should be diverse.Therefore,in the future teaching designs and teaching activities,junior high school English teacher should do as follows:(1)The teaching objectives and evaluation tasks should be designed precisely;(2)The teaching activities and teaching methods should be set correctly;(3)The evaluation methods should be chosen appropriately and the evaluation information should be made good use of. |
