Curriculum ideological and political construction is an important measure to carry out the Xi Jinping’s advice on strengthening ideological and political education in schools,which is the innovation of college education and teaching reform in the new era.College English Curriculum is an important platform for college students to get in touch with foreign ideas and ideologies,and it can have an imperceptible long-term impact on students’ values.College students need to get the right leadership.Therefore,this topic follows the needs of The Times,takes the practical dilemma and optimization path of ideological and political practice in college English curriculum as the research direction,uses various methods such as literature research,interdisciplinary research and systematic analysis to sort out the existing problems of English subjects and teachers in the ideological and political activities in college English curriculum,and analyzes them.To further enrich the theory of ideological and political education and promote the development of education in colleges and universities,we will deeply explore the plan of optimizing the ideological and political education of college English courses.The specific content of this thesis is as follows:Firstly,with ideological and political thinking in curriculum as the starting point,explain the background and development situation of ideological and political thinking in curriculum,on the basis of combing the literature related to ideological and political thinking in college curriculum,have a subjective understanding of the practice of the current situation of ideological and political thinking in curriculum,and from the theoretical and practical significance,research ideas,innovation points and other aspects of
