| Realistic documentary is an important branch of documentary,which bears social morality,conveys social warmth and embodies social power.As a combination of the art of time and the art of space,in terms of the narrative mode,it was mostly borrowed from literature in the early stage,but in the field of literature,most of the research focuses on the narrative of time,which leads to the reality documentary researchers put more emphasis on the narrative of time,weakening the research on the narrative of space.On the whole,the combination of "realistic documentary" and "spatial narrative theory" is relatively weak,so further in-depth research is needed to sort out the systematic theoretical system more completely,and provide new research ideas for the development of the narrative theory of realistic documentary.This thesis focuses on the "Spatial narrative Research of realistic documentary".Guided by spatial narrate and spatial triad dialectics,it uses the methods of interview,case study,literature research and field investigation,and defines the concept of realistic documentary by observing and analyzing a large number of realistic documentary,summarizing shooting experience.This paper deeply explores the spatial narrative dimensions and types contained in the film,grasp the spatial narrative skills used in the creation process and the spatial narrative language embodied in the image ontology,and tries to explore the new creation path of realistic documentaries combined with its own practice and creation.The paper consists of the following four parts:The first part mainly defines and introduces related concepts and theories in detail.Firstly,the research scope of realistic documentaries is clarified and defined.Secondly,it clarifies the concept of spatial narrative and narrative space,and distinguishes them to avoid confusion in this study.Thirdly,the relationship between time and space is demonstrated.Finally,the theoretical basis used in this study is expounded to provide theoretical support.The second part discusses and analyzes the spatial dimension,emphasizing the physical space,spiritual space and social space in realistic documentaries.Physical space builds the material basis of narrative according to its unique spatial characteristics.Spiritual space can reflect people’s psychological activities,is a reflection of people’s own thinking,and has a certain extension significance to the narrative.Social space,as the basis of social practice and production activities,holds the dominant right of space and carries on the narration.Therefore,we should treat the role of space in realistic documentaries from a more comprehensive perspective,construct the spatial environment where the story takes place,and grasp the relationship between the three,which will be conducive to the development and creation of realistic documentaries.The third part focuses on the techniques of spatial narrative.It includes three aspects: spatial narrative perspective,spatial narrative plot and spatial narrative elements.First of all,the narrative perspective can provide creators with new creative ideas and increase the narrative means of realistic documentaries.Secondly,spatial narrative plots can greatly enhance the sense of narrative reality and trigger the audience’s emotional resonance.Finally,details and suspense are indispensable elements in the process of space narration and important means to stimulate the emotional changes of the audience.If the three are integrated into the realistic documentary,it can improve its narrative ability and enrich the narrative content.The fourth part analyzes the spatial narrative language from the perspective of image ontology.Image is the basis and container of narrative content,which can enhance the spatial processing of image,promote the spatial implantation of narrative itself,and strengthen the spatial narrative thinking.Sound,as a supplement to the image space,can expand the visual space to achieve the purpose of multiple space narration.This not only improves the breadth of thinking of realistic documentaries,but also enriches the language of film and television to a certain extent.At the end of the thesis,the research content is prospected and summarized.Combining with my own practical experience,the paper puts forward reasonable suggestions for the future development of realistic documentary,hoping that this study can provide some reference and guiding significance for the creation and development of current realistic documentary. |
