The Study Of Zhanggeng’s Tu Hua Jing Yi Shi

Zhang Geng was born in the Qing Dynasty,as a “scholar-type literati painter”,he is good at painting,appraisal,and textual examination.He wrote a number of works on painting,such as Guo Chao Hua Zheng Lu,Tu Hua Jing Yi Shi and Pushan Lun Hua.His painting research adheres to the style of “written those who follows its signs and believes in it”,embodies the rigorous and realistic learning style,and has made high achievements in painting history,theory and appreciation.As the object of study,this paper probes into Zhang Geng’s achievements in the field of painting,especially the connotation and formation process of his thoughts.First of all,on the basis of previous studies,the thesis makes further research on Zhang Geng’s family background and life,trying to outline the image of Zhang Geng as a “scholar literati painter”.Through Zhang Geng’s own compilation of Qiang Shu Zhai Shi Chao and Gua Tian Wen Chao,combining with his epitaph and friends’ poetry poems,to restore his family background and artistic activities.Secondly,this paper briefly introduces Zhang Geng’s three works on painting and focuses on the content,style and writing characteristics of the Tu Hua Jing Yi Shi,and believes that Zhang Geng recorded the paintings he saw into a compilation,and its detailed record in the style of ink highlights the appreciation of the vision and writing angle,which is unique in its style.The paper also discusses the writing process of Tu Hua Jing Yi Shi,probes into the relationship between it and Guo chao hua zheng lu and Pushan lun hua,and its significance in the formation of Zhang Geng’s painting thoughts.At the end of the paper,the author makes a comprehensive discussion on Zhang Geng’s painting theory in his Tu Hua Jing Yi Shi;reveals Zhang Geng’s painting theory and literati painting in Qing Dynasty,probes into the value of Zhang Geng’s artistic thoughts to literati painting orthodoxy,and sums up the academic value of Tu Hua Jing Yi Shi.Through the above comprehensive study of Zhang Geng’s Tu Hua Jing Yi Shi,it is hoped to make some in-depth discussions and supplementary discussion for Zhang Geng,the Qing Dynasty scholar and painter,and the Qing Dynasty painting study.
