Tchaikovsky Fantasy Overture "Romeo and Juliet"(Romeo and Juliet)is a title music,it through the different character of music theme of the presentation,opposite and conflict,with personalized music language,reproducing the profound thoughts in Shakespeare’s tragedies.This thesis starts with analysis of the forms of music works,focusing on the application of music works in narrative theory,this paper discusses the connotation of the composer in the music works in music performance means to show how to use a variety of characters,plot development and expression of literary texts,and thus achieve the purpose of in-depth interpretation of music works,mining narrative in music art contains.The whole thesis is discussed from the following aspects:The first chapter is the introduction,mainly including the life and works of the origin and development,the narrative and narrative of the music of Tchaikovsky introduction,and the overview and fantasy Shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet" the contents of the original Overture "Romeo and Juliet".The second chapter: music analysis,starting from the theory of composing technology,through the three aspects of the musical form structure,harmony and tonal layout,and theme composition,detailed analysis of the music text of the whole work.The third chapter: Music narration,based on the analysis of the harmony,chord and structure layout,and the static structure of fantasy prelude,such as the principles of Sonata and thematic materials,makes an in-depth analysis of the narrative characteristics and Narrative Significance of the work.It explores how composers express their connotation and plot through the creation of works,and analyze the musical form of works,so as to interpret the artistic implication of narration in music works.Explore how these forms implement the content expressed in the title text.The fourth chapter: the characteristics of music narrative,as a summary thinking,to further interpret the narrative features and artistic value of the Fantasia prelude.This thesis takes Tchaikovsky’s Fantasy Overture "Romeo and Juliet" as the object of study.On the basis of the analysis of the musical text,the musical narrative is taken as the breakthrough point to interpret the important significance of the narrative in the musical works.
