| The continuous advancement of technology has made interactive storytelling an increasingly important direction in the content industry.Digital technologies,represented by the Internet and mobile devices,have made the interaction between users and content more convenient and popular,leading to significant changes in the presentation format and creative concepts of comics.As a result,interactive comics,which integrate interactive,reading,and viewing functions,have emerged.Interactive comics possess both narrative storytelling and game interactivity.Although they can bring novel experiences to readers,they cannot fully demonstrate their charm in interactive storytelling.The reason is that the"narrative" of traditional comics and the "interaction" of interactive comics are contradictory.In traditional comics,the story is a product planned by the comic author from top to bottom.In contrast,the interactivity of interactive comics requires readers to input from bottom to top.Only by seamlessly connecting the reader’s input and the comic author’s design can a finely crafted narrative pattern be produced.To reconcile the contradiction between "narrative" and"interaction" in interactive comics,this study uses literature analysis,case analysis,and interdisciplinary methods to sort out traditional narrative theories and interactive narrative theories.Combined with practical cases of interactive comics,the study focuses on analyzing the design of interactive nodes,narrative structures,and user participation modes in interactive comics,providing valuable reference for the creation of interactive comics.Through the study of relevant theories and cases of interactive comics,the following conclusions are drawn:the interactive nodes of interactive comics occur at the points where characters react and solve events.The design of interactive nodes in interactive comics can start from narrative space immersion and emotional immersion,and guide readers into the textual space of the comic through reasonable options.Suitable narrative structures for interactive comics include the branch vector structure,the sea anemone structure,the tree diagram structure,the flowchart structure,and the orbit switching structure.These five structures can be combined according to the applicable scenes to create more choices and possibilities.The user participation modes suitable for interactive comics are the role-playing exploration experience participation mode,the roleplaying path transformation participation mode,and the omniscient exploration experience participation mode.These three participation modes can be arbitrarily combined according to the needs of the plot.Finally,based on the obtained conclusions,interactive comics are put into practice. |
