A Practice Report On Escort Interpreting To Lilan Winery Under The Guidance Of Interpretive Theory

This is a report based on the author’s interpreting practice of visiting Lilan Winery in 2021,during which the author provides interpreting service for a Canadian visitor.This report explores how to complete the interpreting of tour guides under the guidance of the interpretive theory.Firstly,this report describes the background information,significance and practical process of the task in detail.Then,it introduces the interpretive theory and escort interpreting to the readers.Next,the main part of the report illustrates the problems encountered in the interpreting process and the coping solutions under the guidance of the interpretive theory,including the use of various interpreting techniques,such as addition,omission,and reconstruction.Finally,the report summarizes the reflections of this task and its benefit for similar tasks in the future.
