A Report On The Interpreting For Zainab Naveed

This report is based on the author’s escort interpreting task for a Pakistani scholar Zainab Naveed attending the Hebei “Belt and Road” International Finance Symposium and going on a tour of the Shijiazhuang city.The report elaborates on the escort interpreting process from the preparations for the task to the post-interpreting assessments.In this section,it comprises collecting background information on the task,building glossary and acquainting with accents,implementing the interpreting task,and self-evaluation and feedback from the client after the interpreting task was completed.Under the guidance of the Interpretive Theory,this report expounds on analyzing the difficulties the author encountered in the interpreting task and puts forward the solutions accordingly.At last,the author summarizes the experience in the task which will provide references for the author’s future work.
